The "specific heat" of a substance is the measurement of how hot a particular sample of a substance is, as opposed to how hot that substance tends to be in general

Lurrus is the MILF of MtG as far as I'm concerned. It's a shame she's broken. Ishai is beautiful, and I really like how the bird-people of Tarkir are designed as a whole. And so many of the snake-people in Tarkir, Amonkhet, and neo-Kamigawa really hit, but Chishiro might be my favorite.

But, really, there are a ton of ways you can take an enchantments deck. Dissipation Field specifically is just one of my favorite cards for multiplayer.

000

Arctonoe vittata @a-vittata.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Master of Keys also looks fun with enchantments that go to the graveyard for their effect. Deadly Designs is a really fun multiplayer removal if you like making deals, and Kaya's Ghostform can make your commander really hard to remove since you can escape it back onto your commander.

Deadly Designs - 1B
Enchantment
{2}: Put a plot counter on Deadly Designs. Any player may activate this ability.
When there are five or more plot counters on Deadly Designs, sacrifice it. If you do, destroy up to two target creatures.

Kaya's Ghostform - B
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature or planeswalker you control
When enchanted permanent dies or is put into exile, return that card to the battlefield under your control.

Arctonoe vittata @a-vittata.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I personally love "don't hit me" enchantments like Aurification and Dissipation Field. Sphere of Safety is probably the strongest version of this kind of effect, especially in an enchantment deck, but isn't as silly in my opinion.

Aurification - 2WW
Enchantment
Whenever a creature deals damage to you, put a gold counter on it.
Each creature with a gold counter on it is a Wall in addition to its other creature types. (Errata: Also gives defender.)
When Aurification leaves play, remove all gold counters from all creatures.

Dissipation Field - 2UU
Enchantment
Whenever a permanent deals damage to you, return it to its owner's hand.

Sphere of Safety - 4W
Enchantment
Creatures can't attack you or a planeswalker you control unless their controller pays {X} for each of those creatures, where X is the number of enchantments you control.

Arctonoe vittata @a-vittata.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

And while Evra looks really funny, it's probably easy to accidentally kill yourself early by being bopped with instant speed damage. Master of Keys probably has the most customizability, and there are plenty of "I'm just a little scamp" enchantments out there, so my vote is for that.

Arctonoe vittata @a-vittata.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

(As someone who has not played any of these commanders, so feel free to ignore) Colorless poses a lot of limitations for deckbuilding, especially if you're just starting out, so I'd recommend against Dawnsire.

The leaping blenny hops from rock to rock, and can launch itself through the air up to 50 times its body length. You can find them in tide pools, on rocky coasts, and, starting November 7, you’ll be able to see leaping blennies in action at our all-new Ocean in Motion/La Danza del Mar exhibit.

Believe it or not, they're different fish that became amphibious separately, and likely look similar due to convergent evolution. Mudskippers are gobies, while leaping blennies are blennies, different orders entirely. And not even the only two times fish evolved air-breathing!

Looks like a commander with a lot of options for what to do with the deck! What're you thinking you'd do with a Ramos deck? (Beyond lots of multicolored cards, presumably.) Honestly looks like a fun excuse to run a bunch of charms to me.

Drove plankton from the boat to the lab. Mesoplankton babies are unfortunately way too small for a car seat.

Three plastic jars side by side in the passenger seat of a car. The seat belt is on them, but since they're so short, only the bottom strap is around then.

And NSFW alt. 30% bonus damage pussy assassinate.

Point of view from behind Assassin Rabbit and Small Mouse. Merran glances back toward the two with raised tail (presumably preparing to dash), as "backstab!! 609" damages, focused on her canine pussy ofc. Damage beams and edge of safe zone circle visible in background.

Same as previous image, but without the damage beams, edge of safe zone circle, and damage indicator. In other words, just Assassin Rabbit, Merran, and Small Mouse.

Been playing a lot of Rabbit & Steel recently. POV invulnerability refresh lets you backstab Merran's ass during Phase 2.

Rabbit & Steel screenshot of phase 2 of Merran, the Steeltooth Wolf's fight. Assassin Rabbit just landed a 609 (nice) damage assassinate, standing outside the safe zone.

Point of view from behind Assassin Rabbit and Small Mouse. Merran glances back toward the two, as "backstab!! 609" damages, focused on her butt ofc. Damage beams and edge of safe zone circle visible in background.

There are these two fish at my local aquarium that *always* make me think of that "if a X wore pants" joke. Their section is currently under construction, and I hope they're doing well.

On top is text that says
"If a fish wore pants
would it wear them"
Then, there are two pictures of fish.
One is a blue fish with a yellow section that extends from above its tai, across its body, to its chin, and below, covering the anal and pelvic fins. Below it is the text "Like this?"
The other is a black fish with a white section covering its tail, anal fin, and back posterior fin. Below it is the text "Or like this?"

I just like that you can shoot X-rays at material, and because of the way it interacts with electrons and the discrete energy levels of electron shells, you get back X-rays that tell you what elements are there.
