That heavily depends on what the basic substrate is. If it's grey brick/concrete plates its surf. temp. will generally be lower than the surf. temp of the panel. If its black asphalt the temperatures will be identical. Ex: both pictures taken at the same time of day.

"Yes. I am confident in my posts to the point of limiting replies and disabling QPs." It may be a novel concept, but some of us have been using those elements way longer than ChatGPT exists. I do think CGPT uses them so excessively that you can tell a text is generated w.p. 1.

Today's energy use with a 600 Wp balcony solar installation. My orientation and location are bad (lots of shadows), but still give me ~1kWh/day Mar-Oct. N.B. At least 1.5 kWh of that total use are from trying to do a task with a local LLM. 😒
