So to tie some loose ends, i will stay in the game until I finish both Rainshower and Starfall. Whatever levels i end up finishing in the meantime are a bonus. After they're finished, i will finally retire from this game for good.

I have been thinking about this for a while now. I haven't had any reason to keep playing this game I'm too bad to play extremes getting a rate is impossible now and now they're AI Generating levels for a kid's game So the only thing that kept me here was my ongoing projects.

a little counterpoint The thing about difficulty systems are supposed to increase exponentially. Like on osu, a gap between 6.5 star and 6.8 might be bigger than the gap between 3.0 and 4.0 you could be considered good if you clear a lower one, but you only are considered good if you do smth hard

For the record, i am NOT quitting yet I still have at least 3 major projects i want to finish before I move on from this game, and no matter if it takes days, weeks or even months to get them done, i will only retire when they are finished and released

I have been losing interest in the game for quite a while though, and i have considered quitting or retiring a few times. If this mod rework doesn't make the rating system better as it "should", it might be the last straw for me and my time in this community.

I have been playing this game as a creator for 4 years now, and I got my first and only rate a year ago. What started as a hobby is now what I like to consider an art form, i like to use my creating to pass a message or tell a story, which is why I rarely do smaller projects.
