People in relationships are not equally satisfied everywhere
Relationships and life satisfaction are linked – but not to the same extent everywhere. A study based on data from more than 382,000 people shows that, in regions with a particularly high number of couples, people in relationships are happier. Among singles, however, there are hardly any regional differences. This suggests that social norms and expectations influence personal well-being.
