Michelle's hobbies are...(checks notes)...Wearing tin foil hats, spreading lies, and being a c*nt to people she doesn't know. What in the ever-loving fuck makes people think this is remotely OK to do all because I got the COVID vaccine?

Flu and COVID shots, done! I really know how to celebrate being another year older, don't I? 🤣

I'm reminded that every day I've been able to be here is an absolute gift and I generally try to find something to appreciate about every day. Some days are tougher than others, but I have a wonderful life and knowing many of you makes it that much better. Here's to another trip around the sun. 🥂

Turning 57 today, I'm reminded that I nearly didn't survive the first month or my life. I was born with severely twisted intestines and my doctors weren't sure that I'd pull thru the surgery.

This weekend, I learned that the phobia I've been living with most of my life--which has affected me in so many ways and left me with horrible panic attacks--actually has a NAME. I've lived for so long feeling like I was the only person who had this...and this new knowledge has shaken me.

14 years ago, my birthday weekend was also the weekend following my vasectomy, so my wife decided to get me a cake. (Everything there was make with fondant and modeling chocolate. The clamp and the bandages were all edible.) 🤣🤣🤣

This (almost) 57 year old dude is just so tired. It's another day where I feel like I'm not on any meds at all. I just want to go back to bed. 😔

One of Star Trek's best-ever guest actors, James Sloyan, passed away over the summer at the age of 85. Whether you remember him as Admiral Jarok, time-traveling Alexander Rozhenko, Dr. Mora, or Ma'Bor Jetrel, his performances in Trek were always phenomenal. www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/j...

Everything he's done in Star Trek has been an Akiva project. From the moment we saw black Deltas for Section 31 right up to now. I feel like the franchise has been "Batman & Robin'd."

There isn't a theater within 30 miles of me showing any of the 60th Anniversary screenings, but if you've NEVER had the chance to see any of these movies on the big screen in a theater, you really should treat yourself. It's how they were meant to be seen. 1/2

So, Skynet becomes aware at 2:14am EDT. Be nice to AI today. Except Microsoft Copilot. You can still be a jerk to that one. Skynet won't want that--kind of like the Borg with inferior technology--no interest.

In fairness, I didn't see people this mad about that. Lol I look at it as there are only 11 episodes left in the series and we're going to lose 4 characters. This episode does little to nothing to advance characters. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's pretty much where I'm at. It bums me out, too, because I wanted this to be a great prelude to TOS.
