Turning 57 today, I'm reminded that I nearly didn't survive the first month or my life. I was born with severely twisted intestines and my doctors weren't sure that I'd pull thru the surgery.

14 years ago, my birthday weekend was also the weekend following my vasectomy, so my wife decided to get me a cake. (Everything there was make with fondant and modeling chocolate. The clamp and the bandages were all edible.) 🤣🤣🤣

I thought Strange New Worlds S4 was off to a good start, but episodes 3 & 4 just completely annoyed me. Aside from not liking them at all, they're a waste of 20% of this season. I don't mind shit like this in a 20 episode season, but I'd love to see some STAR TREK instead of continual "big swings."
