THAT is the danger of non practitioners relying on AI output, you don’t know what you’re looking for. The chart is completely inaccurate.

I think the idea is that to create a product that's useful to economists, biologists, etc, it needs real works from those fields (which compresses well), so creating a breadth of alternative scientific research with the same size and history is borderline impossible

matches what I've seen so far, if you have symbols you can get Deepseek to machine gun out a good transcription, but RE from scratch is still in the phase where it just doesn't have the discipline to self-drive without a ton of handholding yet (maybe in a year or two idk)

I find this viewpoint fascinating personally, because I both loathe the Special Good Boy Cliques that exist in tech, and have found that LLMs have genuinely made spaces I occupy a hell of a lot less lonely for once. I love the equalization of talent.

ehh, I think programs can have deceitful behavior, if an application randomly changes behavior for buttons in a way that conveniently gets ad clicks for instance, that's deceptive towards those paying for ads and the users. You wouldn't blame the program though, you'd blame its creator.

the Android and PC versions of KOTOR "support" controllers but it's super clunky and not the actual Xbox UI. And personally I'm not a fan of the mobile dialog UI so I patched that too.

I did ChromeOS on a 4GiB RAM Surface Go bc it has better touch/slate support than Freedesktop Linux, but it was basically just for docs, signing PDFs and VLC. That's all I can think of though.

it gets interesting with quantization where the ‘is this right or wrong’ still works but information recall gets shot, so it has to enumerate possibilities more explicitly as lists to work its way around
