An update. I appreciate everyone's patience with me right now. I promise work will resume, but I need a little bit of time right now.

I'm sorry I haven't posted an update here yet, I did post about it on my personal BlueSky, and have told most of my personal friends in some way or another. Last week, my grandma came home from the hospital under hospice care. I made it a point to come out and see her every couple of days to check in on her and see if my dad and my aunt and uncle needed any help. I had plans to see her today even, but she passed yesterday morning.

I wanted to post this here to let you in on what I've been dealing with behind the scenes. It's only fair, especially to those who are waiting on work from me. I'm going to continue business as usual until I hear from my family about what is happening, and I'll give everyone a definite timeframe on when I will be away from suit work when I have to be. I can't thank everyone enough for your patience right now. My grandmother was one of the driving factors as to why I chase my creative endeavors. This has been hard.

I love you all, I'll be back soon. If you have any questions about the suit making process for your project, you can reach out to @ClawzizKing and @FernNightBloom and they'll do their best to help you if I'm not available.

A little of what's going on with me and the work flow lately 🙃 I appreciate everyone's patience!

Hey everyone! This is just a little update with what's been going on with both the business side as well as a little bit of what's happening in my personal life. Tomorrow, hopefully before my eye doctor appointment, I'll be posting that quick guide on who to contact for specific questions and comments – as well as reaching out to folks about specifics on measurements and how to take them ^^ I also will be discussing specifics on materials and build preferences with folks in the queue.

Now, for things going on in my personal life. I've been incredibly busy this summer, as I've expressed before, but it's finally starting to slow down on my days "off" (the 3 days I'm not at my day job). Unfortunately, though, my family has been dealing with a medical emergency involving my grandmother. She's been in the hospital for about a week, was supposed to be released yesterday, but wasn't able to because she started to go backwards a few hours before they were set to discharge her. We're still not sure what's going on, and I'm kindof just waiting on news.

I wanted to thank everyone for their patience as we chug along here. I'm hoping to have something to show in the next few weeks, but I'm unfortunately playing things by ear for a little bit here.

We vended at a local show yesterday! We didn't sell much, but we did quite a bit of networking, so it was well worth it! Everyone was so respectful of the fursuits (and handled them WAY more gently than I expected), and so many people were asking good questions about our work. Overall, a great time!

For you (furry or not) artists out there who like to draw African wild dogs– something that's very distinct but easily overlooked is that their front paws are built differently than other canids, and only have four toes, no dewclaw. Their teeth also look quite different from those of a dog or wolf!
