I cannot imagine a life more boring, unfulfilling, uninteresting or devoid of meaning that one entirely made up of my own preferences. Interacting with things made by other people & ideas with intention put behind them that challenge me, stretch me, etc. is 95% of the flavor of living.

I dislikes stores having to front the bill. But when the bill is 1000th of a pack, I'm not sure I can bang a drum. If anything, the excitement and drive store owners will see from people gambling/cracking is worth the cost.

Yeah. Its certainly an ongoing trend.

Honestly, I think alot of the negative reaction to the booster changes is overblown - most of it just won't effect the average player. 2 points I might expand in further videos; the shrinkflation of any product is bad (even Collector Boosters). Focus on mindless pack opening over gameplay sucks.

Public Domain Art is the lifeblood of small tabletop rpgs, but it can be a nightmare trying to find the right art and license. This week, I’ve re-uploaded my old list from 2020 (with updates) of public domain websites. That's 500,000+ public domain paintings, photos, maps, and film. Link below 🔗👇

Talking today about how #Goyfgate couldn't happen in 2026 - for a multitude of reasons. And how the changes to boosters, and God Packs, doesn't change that opinion from me.

I genuinely think this is such a poor oversight in design - just an absolute brick of a Commander card that you just can't play.

As much as I adore that episode for its introspection on grief and memory, it does nothing but glorify the idea of AI data collection, art and eulogy, sadly.

And the most expensive versions don't appear in Play boosters. The real question is whether or not this is a good thing for the "competitive" side of the game. No top 8 GP player tanking his chances for a $250 note.

For better, or for worse, #Goyfgate couldn't happen in 2026. The most expensive thing available at a set release is no longer available in Play boosters.

Whilst the return to a second sale, and print to demand for 24h for Zeta is a positive move - I'm not sure that should overshadow the stupid cost of this stuff. Ask any Toy Collector how much Hasbro is taking the piss out of them, because they kept buying creeping prices. All that and more.

Yeah this is an improvement, but to PK's point: As a Transformers collector (also Hasbro), prices have been detached from anything resembling reasonable for years and years now Me and every TF collector I know has shifted to "I buy one every now & then since obviously no one can be a completionist"

I saw your interview with LSV on the topic! Really glad y'all figured out a way to do this - I didn't realise the third card would make it into the booster. In many ways, I like that even more - we get the "see both sides" moment each booster, and some mystery/knowledge on the draft pass.
