And that's a finished kit! Kaiyodo 16cm 1955 GyakushuGoji. Paint really revealed a lot of differences between this kit and the real life suit, but I love how it came out all the same! Now I need to just finished the Anguirus to go with it!

Yes, always shave first and be completely dry. I usually wait an hour just to be safe. It won't hurt you or the IPL, but it also won't work. Moisture makes the sensors detect you wrong, and it just won't fire.

Would highly recommend some UV light protection glasses though. I've had it go off away from my skin enough, and it will leave a spot in your vision for a sec.

I have it set to the highest setting (3), but the true level is set by the light sensors. It honestly doesn't hurt that much, some areas are just more sensitive, but it does get really warm. It scared the shit out of me the first time I used it over how sudden it was, but I got used to it.

And please do research before buying one. These work differently from person to person based on your skin tone and hair type/color. You can cheat the sensor for skin color, but it works better the darker your hair is.

After using my IPL for a month and a half, my face stubble grows so slowly that I theoretically wouldn't have to shave in the morning (though I still do cause by the end of the day it would be very visible). Much like HRT, it's a slow going process, and not an instant one.
