I wanted a dancing Link while working on this silly remix to keep me motivated lol. I didn't have a replacement for FLChan so I improvised with a random .gif

Just had the silliest idea with this remix I started and it's may just be the inspiration to carry me to the finish line now heh. Not sure I can recreate the lead but I may try to be cheeky with it instead. But hey if anyone knows how to recreate the Basshunter "Walk on Water" lead lemme know lol.

Making the surprise Pikachu face over here while I finally did a real sidechain instead of a lazy volume automation plugin and shocked just how much better it sounds lolll.... lesson learned I suppose. The other plugin is still handy for making like gated sounds I guess.

Glad to see more VSTs offering "rent to own" programs. Now they just need more Linux support and everything will be alright.

Well that sure is disappointing to hear about cutman let alone the label he owns. I dream of being able to submit a remix song or be a part of a project even just once, but I want nothing that involves the use of shitty genai. What a shame.

If we ever miss the fact that a participant on our albums uses GenAI, I will personally commit to removing the track & republishing the album without any offending tracks. I don’t care how inconvenient it may be, this is a core principle of the label. No GenAI. Respect your peers & do better.

Drew here to once again state unequivocally: GameGrooves fundamentally rejects Generative AI, and I do not care to debate this subject. We do not do it, we will not do it. If we find you use GenAI on any track that is intended to be released under our catalog, we will remove your track. Period.

It's been a while since I found a song that falls victim to silly ADHD tendencies to repeat it constantly. I admittedly like when this happens though. 😅

I really hope Image Line just makes a dang native Linux port of FLStudio someday though because then I would have less problems swapping over. 😔

Part of me is curious to tinker with a different DAW. Ableton would be the easy answer but I am thinking Bitwig. Because if I can get used to it then maybe I can actually give Linux a real try more safely.

What kind of Switch 2 case/bag do you have? I am looking for one that's protective to keep it stored in! I was talked out of the one I had eyes on due to not being fully sealable and not big enough to keep the joycon attached.

Luanna @luanna249.pmd.social · 07/09/2026

I need to not be so afraid to change synths/ect. out if I'm having too much difficulty with mixing because it may just not be a good fit for the rest of the sounds to fill out the frequencies enough. It should be obvious but I was stubborn. Now it sounds better with a new synth in there, nice.

I hope ZZZ 3.0 OST gets partially released in the near future so I can have a high quality version of "Sunken Corridor". It's probably the best dang song on that soundtrack and I wanna transcribe it to see if I can do anything with it.

My ADHD be like "lets kinda organize most of this project file because working on trying to finish it just isn't enough, we're 3 years late what's a few more days or weeks lol"

Screenshot of a large FL Studio project file. The playlist is haphazardly organized now with some color to separate drums, fx, and some major instrument groups in this song such as pianos and bass.
