Figured I'd try out a new way to talk about an event- UNSORTED PROS and CONS for the Cleveland Gaming Classic 2026 thread! #CGC26 To preface, we went on Friday and Saturday- entering 3 events across them all (Minesweeper, Ultimate Singles/Doubles). I'll be covering the event overall as well.

Frosty and LOSER's Cleveland Gaming Classic (2026) haul. Including 2 lanyards, 2 CGC ring lights, a Minesweeper shirt, a Speed Racer shirt, eight Gamecube games, two Wii U games and a Wii game.

In anticipation of the upcoming pair of Nintendo Directs, @loser-3156.bsky.social and I made a bingo card of loose predictions.

A bingo card for the upcoming Nintendo Direct presentations later this week. In addition to the prediction itself, each square contains humorous imagery. Some standout visuals include Lego Gonk droid, Mallo from Pushmo holding Qbby from BoxBoy!, Alan Dracula from Infinity Train, Tiny Miracle from Uncle Grandpa, and a respectable elderly man decked out in Rocky (Ohio ARMS' mascot) merch.

Finally had the time to get to another event (Midgard #17). Doubles - same disappointment. Singles - Piranha Plant and Isabelle. Finally took a game against Isabelle which is nice I guess. Redemption - DLC gauntlet. Sephiroth (close win), Min Min (close loss), Terry (yeah).

This features originality alongside references (direct and indirect) to my art on the site. Check below for an extensive BTS look! #pixelart #art #pixilart

LOSER'S #PIXELART HIGHLIGHTS #45: An Undocumented Memory: Originally uploaded today! Fun fact: I had the idea for this one a few months ago- but it only took around 4 days (April 8th to 11th) to finish it! It's meant to invoke the feeling of something that you *think* you remember.

A pixel art piece of a polaroid photo of an ice cream stand with an animatronic lizard attached to it. The background of the photo is a river surrounded by grass, rocks and trees. The ground the stand sits atop is a patterned stone path. Text upon the stand reads "Zoo Cool!" and the exclamation point is stylistically an ice cream cone and a melting ball of ice cream.

When Min Min was first added to Smash Ultimate, Spring Stadium (her stage) incorrectly displayed Spring Man alongside Springtron's logo. This was eventually fixed, but it's still crazy it even happened- I'm guessing it's because they're almost the same shape.

Billy Hatcher bosses ranked/categorized (only on gameplay- designs would be way more contentious):

A tier list of the eight bosses of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg based solely on their gameplay. Tier 1: Very nicely balanced (Era Gecko, Dark Raven phase 2). Tier 2: Very fun, but kinda easy (Captain Glur, Saltim). Tier 3: Lengthy, but cool (Topo, Dark Raven phase 1). Tier 4: Gatekeeper (Dark Corvo). Tier 5: Moles (Moles).

2025 was a pretty productive year for me in terms of pixel art. I usually get 2-3 pieces done, but this year I got up to 4. All of these were conceived at different times (one being initially thought of in 2020), though all of them were made through well-placed determination and effort on my end.

Four pixel art pieces on one image (2 rows of 2 pieces). The top left has a movie theater populated by a diverse group of crash-test dummies. The top right is a scene depicting the Free Rangers from Chibi-Robo! (with Sarge saying "No intruders will make it past us! We're hard-boiled!!") The bottom left is a slightly abstract depiction of using a paddle ball. The bottom right is a group of Fighting-Type Pokemon, including Blaziken, Crabominable, Conkeldurr, Pangoro, Falinks and Hitmontop.
