Hanabi in the apple sapling!

A ball-jointed doll with long, white hair and golden eyes is visible from the lower-right side of the frame. She is wearing red hakama and haori, and holding a red parasol with a floral motif. She has big red and white fluffy ears, and nine fluffy while tails, as well as bells on her sleeves.

Sanjie is such a blessing to have in my home... she is from the #Volks Lost Angel's Story line, from 2005. She has rooted hair and painted-on eyes! And she was the first DD released in tan! She's precious to me...

A ball-jointed doll with blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and tan skin is posed in the middle of the frame. She is wearing an extremely frilly yellow dress which is cut short in front, but has a long train in the back, as well as black stockings with lace cuffs. The background is a blurred urban scene including a tree and an outdoor seating area.

Aster out and about on the one (1) day of snow we got last year. There are things I wish I had done differently about this photo, but I hope it's still enjoyable.

A ball-jointed doll with blonde hair and blue, feathery wings stands in the middle of the frame. She is wearing a white dress with a pattern of origami cranes on it. She is looking to the right.

Do you post photos/video here? You should "subscribe" to this list that auto-blocks content scraping accounts that steal content and regularly post it without credit. The fewer eyes they have on them, the less power they have (and thus the more original content we'll see). bsky.app/profile/did:...

Just as a tip, if you’re using Deck.Blue, you can add inline, “Tumblr-style” tags with the “#” button! They don’t appear in the post itself, but they can still be used to find your tagged posts when running a tag search! Just open any post that has them (like this one!) in DB to see them:

New Years photo I took earlier this year! Can't believe it'll be 2025 soon... ough. From left to right we have Dorothy, Luna, Nemu (blue, teal hair,) and Eris (brown hair.) And Fingers photobombed us in the background... he wants to be included.

Four ball-jointed dolls are posed together. A scary-looking artdoll is posed behind them as though photobombing the image. The leftmost doll has many eyes. The one in the middle is blue, and has only one eye. Next to her, and to the bottom-right, is another blue doll with teal hair. And on the far right there is a doll with brown hair in a vaguely gothic red jumper-dress. There is text at the bottom which reads "Happy New Year 2024" in cursive handwriting, and several doodled hearts in the margins. There is also an exclamation point drawn over the head of the artdoll in the background.

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Dorothy (left) and Luna (right) having coffee together! This is my favorite photo I've ever taken. ✨ #dollfiedream #bjd #doll #dollphotography ＃

Two ball-jointed dolls sit at a small table having drinks together. Both are dressed in very frilly outfits. One has many eyes, and the other is blue and has only one eye. They are surrounded by buttercups, and the background is blurred so that the subjects stand out.
