If you happened to miss the big news in my stream last night @piouswolf.bsky.social will be moving in with me in just a few weeks! We're both SUPER excited for this new chapter in our lives. I honestly can't wait to experience so many wonderful things with him! Love this silly wuffer!

I think it's a soft-ish rollout of the feature. I don't see an option to use the feature myself. Kind of maddening, honestly.

I think that's fair. I wouldn't mind the option to check it out when I wanted to. As it is right now, I've tried muting it and I -still- continue to get notifications, which is a bit annoying. I'm sure they'll iron it out a bit. Assuming they keep the feature.

What do you think of Streamer Shouts on Twitch? For me, it's one more notification that I need to clear immediately (I just wound up disabling it). I just feel it's more noise. Like when people post their going live notification in other streamers' discords. Nobody really looks at those, right?

I’ve discovered so many amazingly talented artists through FA over the years (as you may have noticed). Please do what you can to help support the site! It would be a huge blow to the community to see FA fade away.

For sure! I already have a decent nest egg set up. Not enough to last me 6 months worth of pay, as many suggest. But I wouldn't be in dire straits if I lost my job tomorrow. I will say...the one benefit about renting versus owning is that the roof could tear off and it wouldn't be my problem! :P

It really is! Though, now I still have that stupid idea that I need to own a house or property to truly feel 'successful' in my lifetime. I dunno why. Probably a stupid expectation, especially given how pricey housing is everywhere. Sigh. Oh well. Baby steps. You got this, Tex! 💙

Officially back to being debt free again. I want to keep it this way for as long as possible! Really hate that feeling of being under anyone's financial thumb.

Yeah, positioning of the leap motion was always the trickiest thing for me. I could never find a good spot. Right now I have my phone set up at the top left corner of my main monitor in portrait mode. But I plan to get it centered and in landscape mode once I get a new mount later today.

Someone needs to invent glasses for brains. I'd be first in line to buy a prescription. No lasik for brains, though. That sounds scary.

I appreciate the sentiment, but streaming is incredibly difficult to make a living off of, unless you're the top 0.001% of streamers that has thousands+ viewers and probably also with a steady stream of viewers on TikTok and/or Youtube. It's a lot of work! Even then, you aren't guaranteed success. 😔

I want to stop having nightmares about my job: getting bad reviews, being laid off, worrying about how difficult it will be to find a new job if/when I get laid off. Do any of you have dreams like these? How do you cope/deal with them?

I just feel that the wording of “I” did it feels so incredibly selfish when the first thing you should be doing is crediting your community. But, eh, that’s just my opinion.

110

Diffuse Moose 🫎 @diffusemoose.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Totally fair, but any one of us would be sitting at 0 or so viewers if it weren’t for our communities. You can stream until you’re blue in the face, but you’ll have no one to stream to if your community is non-existent.

Pet peeve #9206: saying “I DID IT” after hitting affiliate or partner on Twitch. You’re only a little correct. Yes, you put in the effort, but never forget that you are nothing without your community. Praise and thank them for the accomplishment! They deserve it.

Hahah, aww, thank you, Faded! Yeah, the lady helping me went through a ton of glasses with me. I honestly really love these. The translucent gray/blue frames with the hint of orange at the hinges just resonated with me. And I thought I would have preferred frameless glasses. They made me look 80!! 😵

I’ve generally had good vision all my life, but to slowly see it go blurry has been concerning to say the least. When going through the eye exam, I was blown away with how much better I could see when going through different lenses! It was like getting brand new eyes! :0000

Diffuse Moose 🫎 @diffusemoose.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

LASIK’s not a bad idea! Well, if I want to go that route. I’ve told my prescription is pretty mild. So, good job to my eyes for being this good for this long, I guess! Contacts? I’d die. I flinch like CRAZY if you get things near my eyes. Hahah.

Diffuse Moose 🫎 @diffusemoose.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Sigh…getting OLD! First time getting an eye checkup in decades and the verdict is in: I finally need glasses. In a way, I’m kind of excited to get them because I’ll have sharper vision again. But…yeah. OLD!
