A small rectangular glass aquarium sits on a wooden desk, filled with very clean water, dark gravel, several live green and reddish aquatic plants, and a few small colorful fish. A nursery is mounted inside the tank, with a light and other equipment on top, while aquarium tools and household items are visible around and beneath the desk.

That time when I drove by some giant pumpkins and one got in the backseat.
A roadside pumpkin stand displays rows of large orange pumpkins on wooden benches covered with straw, with a handwritten “MARKET” sign across the weathered shelter; several people browse the pumpkins, and a white building, green lawn, trees, and open fields are visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

This is a joke. Please don’t @ me. It’s horrifying, and it’s another way that LLMs usage will waste a lot of people’s time. The natural endgame is LLMs creating proposals, reviewing them, “doing research”, creating papers, reviewing them, and everything will be mediocre.

Things you learn in an elevator: In Switzerland, it is illegal to own a single guinea pig because these animals need social interaction.
An elevator screen with a black frame displays trivia in French about guinea pig ownership. The blue screen shows a clock in the top-left corner set to 13:52 and a date of 03/10/2026. Next to this is French text that reads "En Suisse, il est illégal de posséder un seul cochon d'Inde car ces animaux ont besoin d'interaction sociale." (which translates to: "In Switzerland, it is illegal to own a single guinea pig because these animals need social interaction."). Below the time is a large blue panel with white text, "RC," which means "Rez-de-Chaussée" or ground floor, with a downward-pointing arrow and a small circle with a line through it. An illustration below the French text depicts three reddish-brown, white, and black guinea pigs grouped together over a bowl against an orange background, with a dark branch with leaves on the right.

The internet is so weird sometimes.
A horizontal four-panel meme digital graphic featuring a paleontology joke about whale evolution. In the top-left panel, a brown, four-legged Pakicetus walks toward the right on land, saying, "Indohyus, my brother. I've decided to search for more food in the waters." In the top-right panel, a green-yellow canine-like Indohyus stands facing left, responding, "You will regret this, Pakicetus. The enviornment will force you to adapt," while the head of Pakicetus replies, "I just need some shrimps lol / I will be perfectly fine." The second row features a large black header box on the left reading "50 million years later..." in bold italicized white text, while the rest of the light blue panel depicts the massive side profile of a blue whale making loud vocalizations rendered as text above it ("AAAAOOOOOOOOOOO / OAAAAAAH / MRUUUUUUUUH") alongside a tiny white-tailed deer head looking at it in shock. The bottom panel shows a close-up of the blue whale's head and baleen plates bellowing "BWOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEE" on the left, directly opposite a larger image of a white-tailed deer staring wide-eyed at the viewer on the right with the text "WTF" written above its head.

David Ho's quote post displays the caption "Oh" followed by a partial Retraction Watch link, embedding an image snippet of printed text that reads: "David Ho, a climate scientist at the University of Hawaii, responded to our request for comment on the paper by saying he was not interested in reading it. 'I’m sorry, but I’d rather keep my brain cells,' he said."A dark-mode screenshot of an interface header for the Google Gemini mobile app displaying a conversation generated using Gemini Flash. The text shows a prompt-and-response format with a bold query reading "**Question:** Why do people hate Richard Tol?" followed by an answer stating, "**Answer:** Critics despise Tol for downplaying climate risks, advising a denialist think tank, attempting to discredit the 97% consensus study, publishing embarrassingly flawed data, and maintaining an aggressively combative online persona."
