A message from our chief executive, Bill Freeman, following yesterday's train derailment in Lewes.

"Our thoughts are with everyone affected by yesterday's derailment in Lewes, particularly the two people who remain critically injured, those who sustained other injuries, and all passengers who experienced what will have been a deeply distressing incident.

During the visit, guests learned about the Friends of Hindley Station and their partnership with Thrive CIC, which supports people with additional needs, and heard how volunteers are helping people access the opportunities rail travel provides while building confidence and community connections.
