Gdakon starts on Wednesday, but there's so much going on that I haven't had time to post anything. @wofik.bsky.social had the premiere of his new fursuit, which I finished the night before the convention. I finished the head and the last adjustments to the fursuit. Wofik is delighted and I can finally go to sleep. 😁 Tomorrow we start decorating the hotel because I'm one of the helpers, and Gdakon starts on Wednesday! 😆

I installed a strong fan in the head of the badger @dirkeart.bsky.social because it was stuffy inside. He has teeth again and will have a new, nicer nose.

Stuffing and finishing the paws. There will still be fur trimming left. Rework of the fursuit - it has different legs, more consistent with the new ref. I started the head - made the eyes, glued the fan teeth and LEDs above the eyes.

I just finished the lower paws for @wofik.bsky.social. This speedrun is a killer because I sew it at night after work, but in 4 days I made an almost complete fursuit. 😁 The most difficult part remains - the head 🥺

Together with wofik.bsky.social we went to the opposite end of Poland for the Krakow fursuit walk. There were at least several hundred fursuiters who passed through the old town and the main square. We didn't put on fursuits, we just took photos and talked to our old friends.

The Gdakon Convention starts in 2 weeks and @kato-the-fox.bsky.social wants to show off some cool MMA moves. This was impossible in elegant paws with fur bottoms. During last weekend I created new outdoor paws, which are actually sports shoes. Kato can fight and run in them. They looking good too👍

Next up were the paws. They were more difficult to sew because they are made of very small pieces of fur, but I am pleased with how they turned out. Sewing the tail was easy, it took more filling to make it very flexible, but more on that next time.

In June 2024 I started working on @kato-the-fox.bsky.social . At the very beginning I installed LEDs for the eyes and a fan that draws fresh air through the nose. Metal sheets allow for attaching the mane with magnets. Unfortunately, Kato choked during exercises and we had to install a better fan.

My 2nd fursuit I made for @kato-the-fox.bsky.social came out much better and people like it. It is also specially made not to limit dynamic movements. Kato trains MMA and does amazing things in this fursuit. Today we recorded videos together where I was his living punching bag so follow his TikTok 😆

February 2014. @bakus-anthrowolf.bsky.social whom I met right after entering the fandom. He is also one of the first fursuiters in Poland and co-organizer of Gdakon. Years passed and our relationship survived. Today we are like Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show commenting on modern fandom 😆

Gdakon February 2014. My first furry convention ever. I was so excited. My first fursuitwalk on the Sopot pier when I could see almost all the fursuiters from Poland and a few from abroad at once. There were about 20 of them. Today there are a few hundred, including me. The fandom grows every year.
