So their answer was to choose the nearest location. So that's... not great; however this also is leading me to try and do a full blown search as to Steam's profile location dropbox.

So I sent a ticket to Steam, hoping to at least get St. John's on the list! I'll update the thread when I get a response!

Here's the list from steam, this is ALL the towns Steam let's you select from. This list is TINY and only includes: 18.65% of Newfoundland and Labrador's Population. On top of that, the town of Catalina no longer exist as it was amalgamated into the town of Trinity Bay North.. I N 2 0 0 5 !

Screenshot of Steam which includes the "Country" set as: "Canada"
The "State/Province" Set as: "Newfoundland & Labrador"
and the "City" which has a drop down list:
(Do not Display)
Bay Roberts
Bonavista
Botwood
Burgeo
Carbonear
Catalina - (The focus of this post)
Channel-Port Aux Basques
Corner Brook
Deer Lake
Gambo
Gander

The list ends here but there is a scroll bar. The next image has the rest of the list.

The continuation of the list of town names from last image which starts with Gander (which we have already seen).
Grand Bank
Harbour Breton
Hare Bay
Lewisporte
Marystown
Saint Anthony - (Is supposed to be: "St. Anthony")
Springdale
Stephenville
Stephenville Crossing
Torbay
Wabana

That is the end of the list

Something been bothering me since I moved to Newfoundland. My Steam account does not display my town anymore...and that is because Steam does not have the capital city of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Not only that, the list didn't even include most bigger towns so I looked into it!

It stands for Extraterrestrial Encounter Bureau. (Or Bureau d'Événement Extraterrestre Aka BEE in french!) They deal with anomalous threats of extraterrestrial/unknown origins. Got lotsa lore but this is technically first time posting about it heheh.

Decided to go to northern Ontario to check out the South Cove national park but we had to get the fuck away from there as soon as we got there. EEB shut the place. We had slowed down so I could take a picture of the sign and then something started to glow so we immediately noped out of there. #EEB

Hello Bluesky! I'll try and be more active here instead of the platform formerly known as twitter! This account will mostly be used to post my professional work and vent about big corporations getting rid of features I use! :D
