A8: #spirittchat Life is like a river. Parts of the river flows without a hitch and other parts must go around dams. Sometimes you think that you’re flowing well until a busy little beaver builds yet another dam. Life is learning to flow with and around the dams and living with the beavers.

A8 A state of continuous flow is not dealing with outside forces, living in your own little bubble and maybe wondering about the meaning of life. For peace of mind, you should at least get out of the flow for a bit before easing back in. #SpiritChat

A7 I have to let go to let the flow find me. I don’t think I find the flow. That can only happen when I’m fully present in the moment. #SpiritChat

Letting go, like when swimming in the ocean and lifting your feet off the ocean floor, is scary but that's where the grace is. Swimming, I am always "in the present moment" because not to be would be, well, to drown. "In the flow" as a state of mind may be scary, but full of grace. #SpiritChat

A7: Kumud let slip that this is the ESSAY question. 👀 All three of those are important. Maybe I'll just stick to energetic math(s): - Letting go of current concerns + aligning with the flow of grace = fuller presence. Start either side of the = sign. Maybe also add tea and cake? #spiritchat

A6 When I do something automatically with little or no thought it feels amazing. I know my action came from someplace other than my mind. I’ve decided that is often the way spirit speaks. #SpiritChat

A6: My biggest opening there was after my first Richard Bandler/NLP experience. Walked out of the conference for dinner with my colleague, still in an altered state; I couldn't judge middle distance, and she had to walk me to the restaurant. Then I realized 'states of mind' are real. #spiritchat

Every time I am writing a new book, it seems impossible. To create something from nothing. A few weeks, months or years later, it is done - real - only because I was immersed in "the flow" on those special days when everything was calm. I learned to trust, and keep going. #SpiritChat

The student visa interview at the US Embassy in Delhi… I was all stressed out but the early morning fog, the singing of the birds while I was waiting to enter the building, all put me in a state of flow… the rest was easy :) :) #Spiritchat A6

A4 I think we just need to think and act in positive ways. When we catch a negative thought, we immediately change it into a positive thought. Then our actions are much more likely to be positive . #Spiritchat

A4: #spiritchat I don’t think you need excellence in all actions. I think you need to give what you can in the moment. This may help more with the state of flow than creating anxiety from trying to be excellent in everything.

Dissatisfaction, criticism, blame - in thoughts or speech - these are indicators of not being in the flow. A deep breath helps with acceptance and gratitude and may unblock us, leading to actions moving toward harmony, when troubles surface or surround us. #SpiritChat
