3D Zelda, especially the adult half of OoT, sometimes feels very "mechanical", with the eye panels, switches, etc (and I still like it). But now I have a newfound appreciation for this early moment where you hit *the ladder* to make *it* fall, instead of hitting *a switch* to make *the ladder* fall.

The "hello human resources" meme modified to fit the og post: 2-panel comic; the top panel has Shulk (from Xenoblade) saying "Oi mate" and Christerious (represented with the character from vvvvvv) smiling and replying "aww, you're sweet."; the bottom panel has Samanosuke (from Onimusha) saying "Oi mate" and Christerious with a sad face picking up the phone and shouting "hello, human resources?!"

Happy pokemon mystery dungeon day ( #PMDday ) I was trying to arrange a handful of pmd tracks in the style of Bartok's Night Music, but I ran out of cohesion right after doing Dark Hill; plus I've been melting in the heatwave.

#makeaterriblecomicday2026 Me vs Furnace Tracker vs the Commodore 64 soundchip.
3-panel crudely-drawn comic.
Panel 1: a vague outline of a chameleon is sitting on an office chair; the chameleon asks "So you're saying the envelope restarts SMOOTHLY on every new note?"; the icon for Furnace Tracker (a 3d render of a bowl of CPUs) replies "yeah dw".
Panel 2: A crudely drawn oversized mouse pointer clicks on the "play" button in Furnace's interface.
Panel 3: The Furnace icon emits sound, represented as a badly drawn speaker icon with soundwaves emanating from it; between waves, the word "POP" repeats multiple times. The chameleon says "*sigh*".

Dr. Loboto from Psychonauts (who performs lobotomies with sneezing powder) with a comic balloon, so it looks like Loboto is saying the post being replied to.

It's still there, but I guess it's invisible on videos unless you specifically use a screen reader.

I think "King Loss" might have been the first one. I mean it makes sense, there's even this scene, rememeber?
Scene from Hollow Knight (the Vessel and the Pale King staring into the distance, as seen at the end of Path of Pain), quadruplicated and edited into the Loss meme (the first variation has no king, the 3rd has the king the same height as the vessel, the 4th has the king rotated to a horizontal position)

The "Apollo's Gift Of Prophecy Dodgeball" meme: 3 girls in the background (one with Jenny Chongoshow's blonde avatar overlaid on her) are recoiling, while a girl in the foreground (with the caption "Apollo") is about to throw a Blue Shell (captioned "The gift of prophecy") at them

Does that mean this is retroactively a picture of you working on 6 mashups at once?
Screenshot from the Jackbox Game "Champ'd Up", showing crudely a character named "Jenny All Hands": blonde, long-haired, green dress, with arms menacingly held out, with 3 forearms (and hands) per arm, with an extremely devious ">:)" face

Am I overthinking prelude 18? I am definitely overthinking prelude 18. But I really didn't want it to be just a stream of notes.

When you let the loop restart without resetting controllers and you get this mess. (first clip: volumes exist only where I put them instead of being continuous; second clip: the low slide isn't supposed to be there, it's also an effect of the loop)

Sometimes, when your source is a single moody stream of notes, you have to exaggerate the moodiness. (Chopin prelude 14)

For posterity, here's a screenshot of an explanation given (under the original tweet) by "Darío/dariosamo" on twitter.
Screenshot of a tweet by @ dariosamo, saying
"The microcode has a default value for the vector used for reflections. This issue doesn't exist in any emulator that implements that or uses LLE. I added this fix to the library the Star Fox 64 port uses as it was running into more obvious issues: https://github.com/Kenix3/libultraship/pull/727 "

Small edit of the quoted image.
The original is a guy standing in front of a car with dry trees in the background, with overlaid text "Shout out to the inexplicably sideways sphere map on the bob-omb battlefield water bomb in every unofficial emulation and port -- Gotta be one of my least favorite genders", and with various screenshots of Mario 64 demonstrating the sideways texture (with more text scattered on and around them: "??? why is it like this", "no one seems to have noticed this for literal decades" "never seen anyone bring this up" "how does this continue to go unnoticed am I the only one with eyes" "it's somehow also in the pc port" "even the Mario wiki uses the incorrect one" "source texture: this is clearly a grass and sky reflection right?? am I crazy??" "it's rendered like this in the original and corrected in every official port" "even when their emulation has other common bugs" "what gives")

In my edit, I turned the reflection of the trees on the car to be sideways. hehe

Interviewer: Can you explain this gap in your resume? Orchestrator: It's a General Pause. Trombone player: I had Tacet in this movement. Sound mastering engineer: It's like the gap in this sound wave
