Had an idea in the middle of the night for a social media site where theres no timeline, but posts are scattered around, and posts that are similar to each other are closer together, so as you explore in a given direction you find similar posts. Made a little test with fake data. #socialmedia #dev

I've started playing on a vanilla hardcore MC server, where if you die, you get banned FOREVER. No server reset ever, same world forever. It's been really fun. One of the coolest parts honestly is finding random old ruins and structures as you travel, like this mob grinder in the sky. #minecraft

Have attacking in now, everything moves in turns. First you, then enemies, then any projectiles. Otherwise theyre suspended in time. Still figuring out how this feels. Also attacks are very basic still. #gamedev #indiedev

Seeing you work on this reminds me of when I was doing terrain generation many years ago, and at one point was trying to simulate plate tectonics in the world generation. Iirc I got it working but couldn't make it fast. Remember it all being really fun conceptually though
