Remember when Trump went to the oilgarchs and asked for $1B for his campaign, essentially promising them whatever they wanted? Result? war on EVs, killing mileage standards, so more fuel would be needed. Guess who wins with Hormuz being closed? Follow the money. Trump is benefiting from no deal.

EV sales are plummeting bc the Trump administration killed the Biden charging station infrastructure plan that would have made EVs attractive for long range travel. Not bc hybrids are more efficient.

Sorry, but the 1st Amendment says "CONGRESS shall make no law..." It does not say GOVERNMENT shall take no action... Trump knows it and knows he does not violate the Constitution by banning journalists--and the originalists on SCOTUS will uphold it.

Reality check: Constitution says "CONGRESS shall make no law abridging..." freedom of the Press. As much as he'd like to be and tries to be, Trump is not Congress. And there's no law that grants an unconditional right to cover any given person. SCOTUS upholds ban.

Governors races are more important this year than Congressional races. Dems will be stymied if they win but Dem governors will give them a platform to run on in '28.

I hope the GOP retains the House and Senate. If Dems win, they won't be able to accomplish anything bc they won't have a veto-proof majority. Then in '28, having gotten nothing done, they will lose the White House and Congress again. But if the GOP holds, '28 will be a watershed election.

Trump didn't care if he won or lost. This ruling just gives him carte blanche to file suit against any result he doesn't like--and drag it out through the courts for months, if not longer. And he'll order little Johnson not to seat any until the suits play out. No reason to celebrate.
