About once every couple of months I think about the fact (that I learned from @kfw.bsky.social ) that the drummer who plays the break on Amon Duul II’s Archangels Thunderbird is the same guy who produced Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell record .

Just got a photo of the poster that Monolith Press screened of the David D’Andrea design for the Steve Von Till / Six Organs tour starting next Friday. So stoked on it. I asked David if he might be able to do a representation of the dogs that Steve and I have. Available at the merch table.

Poster with gold and black printing of two dogs in a forest with some antlers at the top of the image in Beautiful black ink design. In the very back of the image is a person sitting down alone, obviously bummed out that for some reason they missed coming to the show on the awesome tour.

Goodbye to my friend John Whitson. We put out our first full length LP together (Plague Lounge in ‘96). I owe much of my path to him, not only for releasing my early records but also the great music he introduced me too, especially in the mid 90s. It was an honor to be his friend and work with him.

Really excited to see the debut from Western Extra feat. Donovan Quinn and Chris Rose. Tossing Royal Trux and the societal malaise of The Kinks into the mix, the band scoops a few tricks out The Soft Boys bucket as well, with just a slight whiff of Jacobites vapors.
