Long gone are the days where I’d be so excited for the launch of a new Jag. Nowt to do with the fact that it’s an EV. It’s the messy management. It’s the farce of the cancelled new XJ a few years ago. Most of all it’s the scrapping of the values on which the company was founded.

We’ve just pressed a 10kg tester, which has done a gallon of cider. Going to use bentonite to clear it and then a 2nd fermentation in bottles to give it some fizz 😬 Pray for me.

We had a bloody awful delay (3.5 hrs) on the way back from Austria this summer. First time we’ve had any problem with it. I did read that there were many delays this year. It certainly needs money spending on it, I agree. I did get a £150 voucher for taking 2 mins to fill in the complaint form.

I have family in Tonbridge so I’d probably overnight there and get the early shuttle. Although we had to stay in Maidstone at an Airbnb this year and there is a fantastic micropub not far away……
