Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 28/04/2026Yep. Raised extremely conservative, now I'm not. College didn't push me left though, my time in the Marines did. 000
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 15/03/2026If I'm in a funk I find that anything involving some sort of "creation" helps, and cooking counts. When my mom passed away last year I found gardening to be immensely therapeutic. Hope things keep getting better for you. 011
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 20/02/2026I personally don't think it was on purpose (as in, not their primary goal), but it's inevitable that they won't let a good crisis go to waste. 1140
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 20/02/2026Everything sucks, but seeing the EU investigate dumping Microsoft and switching to open source is a nice little silver lining that warms the cockles of my cold, dead heart. 000

Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 16/02/2026How difficult is it to get started water bath canning? I've been wanting to can my own tomatoes as well but I don't have the budget for a lot of equipment. Yours look great! 110
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 11/02/2026Exactly. The only way they truly can't share your data is if they don't have it. 010
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Have you tried games with turn based combat? I found Baldur's Gate 3 to not really require anything for reaction time, and you can enter turn based mode (usually) at will. I get it, I'm severely left handed and struggle with using controllers. Everything is based around right hand dominance. 210
Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3 both did this to some extent with a "story mode" and can be changed mid-game. Both are turn based combat (which I find to be easier) and have excellent stories as well. Worth a look! 010

Ren @52656e6565.bsky.social · 09/02/2026I wish there was more discussion around data security on this. The data collected by these cameras will be leaked, inevitably; the only way to keep data perfectly secure is to not have it in the first place. 041
