and people in a heteronormative mindset moreso prefer ideals of what humans could possibly be. More married to societal ideals of beauty

People are hottest when their real traits are like on display and glorified. Something like that. Like queer people understand sweating is hot, squish is hot, muscle is hot, human traits are hot do yall get me, like queer people moreso glorify human traits

I am falling back down the Dragon Ball rabbit hole my friends #VegeKaka Planet Vegeta doesn't get blown up AU

Digital art of Goku crawling onto Vegeta's lap with a smile and a slight blush. Vegeta is majorly blushing and kind of pushing Goku away. They are both wearing post-Frieza saiyan armor (the blue spandex and white chest piece), except Goku is only wearing the blue spandex pants. Vegeta is fully clothed. They both still have their tails. Vegeta's is wrapped around his waist and Goku's is curled in a playful question mark shape behind him.

Why do couples have to say "we're pregnant"? We??? I know one of yall is taking the brunt of that burden. sorry this is so random I just keep hearing it. Theyre trying to say "Im involved in this process, you're not pregnant alone" I think. Which is a nice thought I guess 😭

Things fanfic writers find increasingly weird replacement words for: - Character's name (the brunette, the other, the raven-haired) - Eyes (orbs, pearls, pools of light) - Blood (life essence, life fuel, crimson fluid) - Genitals (meat, manhood, moist cave) This is not a critique I love yall

In fandom spaces people do sometimes beg for likes, but it's usually on a peer to peer level. Stuff like "Hey guys, I worked really hard on this so please consider comenting." Would you use advertising tactics on friends? It's similarly inappropriate to speak like a sales rep in fandom spaces.

A part of fandom culture that matters is we talk to each other like peers, not content creators to audience

my greatest ao3 pet peeve is when authors talk in the notes like fanfic is some kind of commercial endeavor, and use advertising language instead of fandom language. Like "drop a review if you want more like this" brother You're not appealing to a general audience, you are talking to your peers

Yeah, calling bombs liberation is a wild thing the American government frequently pulls I dont know how to even quantify my loathing of this propaganda. It reaches and settles into too many minds. It always says that some group is so backwards/corrupt that violent intervention is warranted

I haven't heard that before :o I feel like the principle might be true. I'd get more practice if I didn't only draw stuff I intend to fully render

Everytime I learn how to do something in the art process better, that becomes the new standard for what I feel all my art should be. Not a very enjoyable way to go about making art

would it be catastrophic if I put less effort into my art for the sake of being able to make more of it? I don't know if I can let go of my current standard, but the idea is bouncing around in my head. I want to post sketches sometimes but my brain is telling me to fully render stuff or don't post

Nikki Mirage this, Cardi C that; That's Miss "Z-Team MVP" Prism to you, Bob Bob! Seriously, she carried the squad so many times during my first #Dispatch playthrough.

Comic featuring Prism from Dispatch, recalling the nicknames given by Robert Robertson during the tense meeting in Episode 3. Last panel shows Robert bending the knee before her offering a tray of coffee and twinkie because she's the MVP of the dispatch sessions.
