Update: I negotiated with the lab and knocked one of the bills down by half so I'll only owe $6500 now. I'm happy for that but trying to appeal the hospital, they shut me down bluntly. Trying to get help from a non-profit, we'll see how it goes. Appreciate you all sharing this too, means a lot.
