I can accept people liking something I don’t like, but I feel like vice versa often doesn’t work in the MH community

030

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

It would be more efficient to talk about the things I don’t like about Wilds so far Else it would take too long

020

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

To the peeps that are worried about Swaxe counter, this is the damage you take from countering Rey Daus attacks So yeah, there’s definitely a lot more balance to it Still think it didn’t need one, but it ain’t too bad

020

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

So Dosha has this crazy Renegade Raider state

020

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

I did one counter, but I always have to remember myself that this tjing exists & I also often get the buttons wrong haha Ahh, I also used the super satisfying focus mode finishers quite often, Swaxe has to different ones for each mode Also, the UI made forget abt Swaxe gauge 😅

020

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

Killed my 1st Rey Dau Peak monster, just as I remember And my quest timer was so bad, I still mostly play the game like MH4U, just that I also use awesome focus mode to target head & tail better and that I use the sidesteps during the triangle attacks in Swordmode lol

030

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

So, my guy Erik said that even monsters that usually aren’t in packs in the West actually move in groups over here

010

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

So I think Rey Dau just did that really often at Gamescom. Yeah, he does have lots of attacks with his wings that probably loosen up the ground a lot. Sadly the one I did today never entered the dune areas, but I think this is what I recognized at Gamescom & was so excited about.

010

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 29/10/2024

So, I guess the Sand Dunes completely by themselves don’t really slow you down, but in combat it happens a lot, that monsters, especially when doing attacks, loosen up the ground, which actually slows you down or makes you sink in, etc., & I think that’s what I meant at Gamescom. So damn peak!

Colorful Zamtrios! Guess I‘m 20 now. Only gotta stay away from Murica for 1 year from now on.

@trilightning.bsky.social Hey. Not sure if that’s the way to approach it, but I absolutely need to apologize for my behavior in the past. My response of what happened was way too overblown, exaggerated & toxic. I’m sorry for hurting your feelings & wish I could make up for it.

Why is it always the Wyporium quests, that are so cool?

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

Tomorrow on my 20th birthday, I’ll play Wilds demo again & can prove myself again, if my impressions I got about the sand physics are actually 100% true. Cus yeah I only played the multiplayer demo 30 minutes and it was really hard to focus with how loud it was. But it should actually be that way.

The lack of facial expression from old Rajang is unintentionally scary

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Feeling bad for mistakes at least gives me the feel that I’m not that terrible of a person. I have to get something off the table and clear things off. Tried to kinda approach it yesterday but it didn’t work. I don’t know how to successfully approach it. We can still go out our ways afterwards.

030

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

And it’s revealed that there are parts where the Seikret can’t go, so you’ll still have the good old classic sequences + very likely also chase Sequnces on a Seikret, where a whole pack is attacking you, but while you attempt to deliver an egg to the village

010

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

With the Seikret and whole monster packs being able to chase you, Wilds is going to have the best egg deliver quests

020

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

I‘ll be better, I should leave past mistakes behind

030

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

I‘m excited to get to feel Wilds sand physics again, especially compared to dunes from games like 4U, where U can kinda cheese the monster & mount them super often, in Wilds it actually felt like making U slower, like U’d normally expect irl, if U walk on sand dunes. At least thats what I remember.

This is great, Sunken/Volcanic Hollow are one of my favorite volcanic maps & having this concept be actually put in one single map with a dynamic season system is great. Also, having those machines being an active part of the hunt, like environmental traps & probably threats, looks interesting too.

040

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

This reminds me of Sunken Hollow. You’ll have the normal cold state with oil & tar. When the forge is active, everything heats up & maybe we even gotta clear some quests first to get it in shape. Then everything overheats at some point & this is the main season for Mr Black Flame.

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

So, we got an Apex for Fire 🔥, Water 💧 and Thunder ⚡️, now we just need one for Ice 🧊 and Dragon 🐉

Also, new Monster Type?! Octopus looking ass - we’re actually getting a monster type based around them! Think I already tweeted of that idea long ago🤔

010

ThirdFleetHunter👻🎃 @3rdfleethunter.bsky.social · 23/10/2024

So the Black Fame guy is like the Apex of the new map I think and he always appears when the Smith Oven thingy is like active and hot and everything is heating up or something and this is basically what the season system is of this map I guess?
