LOCAL: Working on mural installations this week and hopefully forever more. Registered a new drone today after four nominal test flights. DRONE: I have not flown due to wind and rain. Midjourney SCIENCE: Frozen organs Scientists discover how to freeze transplant organs without cracking them | ScienceDaily I am not against AI. I am against data centers that act like life doesn't rely on finite resources.

LOCAL: Glossed four older paintings to check the effects of the process. These paintings were completed between two months and a year ago. The most recent of the four paintings had a chemical reaction to the quick-drying medium. The underlay precipitated up through a light, but opaque topcoat. Registering a new drone today after four nominal test flights. Really into understanding the cycle of annual wildflower blooming schedule here this year.

LOCAL: Looking at apprenticeship opportunities. My son is going into a trade. People are trying to AI-proof their future. He is looking at debt to earnings ratios and probabilities of occupational resilience to AI. He believes AI will replace the professional service economy. So, I try to shop local, think global and all that. I painted last week. Alot. I photographed the paintings in my backyard in overcast and rainy morning light, and in the clear afternoon light the next day.

LOCAL: I have been working on a commission night and day, foregoing sleep. Going on 3-4 hours of sleep a night, in fact. I have had no time to review recent drone footage I took at Rice's Landing. Stereolab on philosophical systems, the economics of small record labels and why you shouldn't have sex to Barry White.

LOCAL: Painting five panels for a mural. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. The cold weather delayed the project by a week. So, I had a pencil sketch, an underlay, and then a week of downtime. I am using three large canvases, oil, and I need ventilation. I altered website colors. So quiet outside I can hear the 3:38 am barge siren in the river valley.

LOCAL: Working on murals and paintings. Very busy over Easter weekend. Happy Easter! I did some redesign for Spring, fonts, colors, nothing big. Recovering from allergies or Covid, who can say? Laurel Caverns becomes first subterranean state park in Pennsylvania - Herald-Standard. At one time they had a miniature golf course in there. The absolute GOAT of cavegolf. DRONE:

LOCAL: Getting over seasonal illness or another. Measuring parts of a building for a mural project. I am going to be working on multiple murals in the region, yay! I am not revealing anything because the production work is visible and will generate buzz anyways. DRONE: Just bad news in the Middle East. Bad news in Ukraine/Russia. A hellish future awaits us all as it spirals.

Underlook Trail, Coppers Rock State Park, WV LOCAL: I added a capability statement to my bio. WordPress just flagged the word "capability" as complex, lol. Between illness and raising an autistic son in a zero-star school district, my time has ground down to zero. I have completed 5 of 6 paintings for a benefit show next month. I realistically have about three more days to paint the sixth in this 2026 series.

Underlook Trail, Coppers Rock State Park, WV LOCAL: Broke and loving life. Opening all posts to discussion moving forward. I worry my son will go to war to keep the corrupt in power. Discuss. Blood on our hands is hard to wash away when the enemy drinks so deeply from the springs of fruit punch Kool-Aid. I stew; I worry about what our descendants will think of us.

LOCAL: Can you spare a billion? Help me make it to the morning light. Go swimmin' in the sabayon. Slow motion coup here and I'm out of popcorn. DRONE: I pledged for a waterproof 'follow-along" drone last August and the FCC needed to authenticate the drone to add it to the other HOVERAir models already sold in the US. One of their drones won a Time magazine "Product of the Year" award in 2025.

Yesterday I had to differentiate battlespaces by the subtitles. Iran, Jordan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, UAE, Jordan, Ukraine, Mexico, Afghanistan. Chaos in the streets. Why? Could we please go back to having the nice drones again?

LOCAL: In my latest installment of Misadventures of Draino the Lost, I drove myself and my kid to Ohio to Barnesville Petroglyphs in sleet. The weather was so bad we didn't feel like walking to it in the sleet once we got there. Quality time, you owe me bigly. As soon as we got back to Barnesville the sky began to clear.

LOCAL: Warm and rainy all week. I had kickstarted the HoverAir Aqua so I could fly in the local weather. I am so far in the hole because of that loss. Drone is not here as promised. It would be perfect to fly here with that waterproof little drone. We have ice floating down the river. We have light rain, thick fog on the daily in the river valley.
