I was born and raised in Texas, and I chose to move to Oregon more than 20 years ago. I don't miss being a Texan. My daughters will never have to go through what Amanda Zurawski lived though, and I think moving out of that overly-conservative fake-christian woman-hating hellscape is a solid option.
