It’s awful. When I went into teaching, I knew I would never be wealthy, but I expected to be comfortably middle class. That all disappeared when I was assaulted by a student. The workers comp company used every tactic to make sure I suffered for years. I’ll never work again, never have money

In my favorite campaign, we all had our memories wiped and didn’t remember our past relationships. I didn’t know *why* I strongly disliked one of our group members. I just knew that I did. It turns out his character was my professor and gave me detention all the time for pranks.

I’m proud of my senator for being outspoken about this. Pete Hegseth absolutely needs to resign. Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Waltz, and John Ratcliffe all need to go, too. You cannot be a leader in national security or defense and not be diligent about things like this.

It’s because he’s just playing the role of president in a ceremonial capacity, hence all the public executive order signings. Other people are doing all the real work, and if you remember his first term, he didn’t want the intelligence briefings prepared. It’s a show. He gets attention without work.

I’m glad they’re all okay. Yeah, I think minor hail damage is likely our only issue. We lost power at about midnight and it’s still out, so I’m anxiously sitting around hoping it comes back on soon. I just refilled my insulin on Thursday, so I have thousands of dollars of insulin in my refrigerator

I think there were a few things that contributed to that, but these 2 are the ones I feel had the biggest impact. - The Kamala HQ staff were mostly the same staff members who worked for Biden HQ up until he dropped out - I couldn’t find any staffers who had previously worked as organizers

UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is. They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there. They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

And they make some really cute masks now. I have KN95s that are pink, blue, any colors. But I also have patterns like stars or rainbow hearts. I can absolutely match my mask to my clothes. And Sip Valves have made it possible for my immunocompromised self to go to concerts, hydrate, and not get sick

Truly, the insurance we should model a single payer after is Medicaid. The price paid to doctors and other medical providers needs to be increased, and the price paid to drug manufacturers needs to be decreased, but Medicaid is the superior program overall. And for goodness sake can we add dental?

I’m one of those people. If I lose my Medicaid coverage, I will die. Not immediately, but within a few months. I will lose access to the medical support that keeps me alive. The really frustrating part is that I’m in this position because I was assaulted at work while I was a public HS teacher.

This is absolutely what they need to do. If the administration chooses to not make itself available to media sources that disagree with then, the media no longer has an obligation to give them airtime. If one side breaks the historical norms like this, the other side doesn’t have to abide by them.

And the ads aren’t beneficial to us. Doctors are the experts who should decide the medicine to prescribe us almost every time. The only exception I can think of is people who have rare illnesses and sometimes know more than their doctors do about it. But those aren’t advertised anyway usually.

These mass layoffs make no sense. These are jobs that require special training and are always understaffed. These layoffs will make it less safe to fly in the US, and there will likely be more crashes than the 7 that have already happened in less than 3 weeks.
