How do you people live like this.

Just getting over a week's-long respiratory infection while I was on tour and today I feel like total shit. But this time it's a good thing cuz I just got my covid booster and flu shot yesterday, so I know my body is getting to work learning how to fight that shit. More travel in a couple weeks.

My ass is numb from sitting in the van for 9 hours straight but now I'm home and there's a cat on my lap and I am just so happy.

You can't prove to me that "Tell Her About It" isn't secretly a song about Billy Joel banging Thai chicks.

Do you think they chained up this 12 foot skeleton to prevent theft or escape?

8 days of touring starts tomorrow so that means today I'm dyeing my hair and pooping as much as possible.

Heard some guy outside the club last night talking dismissively about a TV show saying it's basically "made for nerdy bisexual women" and I instantly want to start binging whatever that is.

That feel when you get new information that you are both extremely excited about, but also know will surely lead to your downfall.

If I already have to preface my own messages with "i used voice to text to write this" then why tf would anyone think AI is ready to just rewrite our emails without consent??

Literally bruised my palm tracking stomps and claps for this new record last night. 🦵👏

One nice thing about tracking in the studio as a drummer is my part gets recorded first and then I get to take a long break from performance. 🤤

The night before the studio is way more exciting than whatever Santa's got going on.

Sometimes marriage is pulling a broken earplug out of your wife's ear with tweezers after Riot Fest so you don't have to spend the night at the ER.

AI really could kill us all, but it's not berserker drones flying around assassinating people we should worry about. It's much simpler than that. AI could just shut down the power plants and water treatment plants. At least us meatbags are still needed to maintain the infrastructure... for now.

Had a great weekend of shows with my new band. Really feeling like we're grooving together more and more. Excited for a TV spot this week, a club show, and a street fest, and more touring ahead!

I agree. Men in ties make it seem like you have to put a bow on them to pretend they're special.

Stock trading message boards really opened my eyes to the casual misogyny and transphobia everywhere.. I knew it was prevalent in gaming but I attributed that to the proportion of adolescent males that play video games. Bros, get your boys in check. It's not a good look.

Explain to me how I can have someone cremated with an email, but I can't forward their mail to me without an in person visit to the post office and documentation... not sure what sort of documents those would be, and I certainly don't have them. The fun continues.

When people ask me how I'm doing.. I give them my best guess. I'm showing up. I'm getting through it. I think I'm ok. That's probably also what someone would say if they're not ok.

I think it's bullshit that if your computer is acting fucked up, but there's an update ready, there's no way in hell your allowed to just restart without updating, no matter whatever the fuck you're in the middle of doing.

When mom died I at least had some comfort knowing she wasn't suffering anymore and it would remove some burden of care from my dad... losing my dad is just not fucking fair at all. This world lost a good man way too soon, I don't care how much he annoyed me.

When I was 12 years old in 1995 my mom would buy Arby's for me when they had the "5 For 5" deal you could get 5 regular roast beef sandwiches for 5 bucks. She'd pop those babies in the fridge and I got cold RB's to brown bag for lunch for a week straight. I loved 5 For 5 week.

Healing energies and justice vibes for Lonn Hartman, the poor black man who almost got his head cut off at Blissfest. I knew an 99% white camping festival in the woods with no security was bound to be trouble. I hope the police catch the psychopath that did this.
