🔥 Europe's record heatwave isn't natural — it's fossil-fueled. New World Weather Attribution study shows: these temperatures were "virtually impossible" 50 yrs ago. Nearly half of 800+ cities will hit extreme heat stress. Polluters profit. We suffer. Make them pay. 🔗👇 350.org/the-great-po...

It is scorching hot in the UK right now. 🥵 The ultimate irony? We are enduring extreme, climate-fueled heatwaves while fossil fuel giants rake in a staggering $12 trillion a year in public subsidies—nearly 100 times more than global climate finance.

As Americans struggle to afford necessities, Trump brought an entourage of CEOs to Beijing. While so many lives have been lost because of a senseless war in Iran, Xi showed off his military. They're for profits. We're for people.

Last week, İkizköy village in Milas, Türkiye achieved a historic legal milestone. The Council of State issued a stay of execution against the "urgent expropriation" of land around the Akbelen Forest. This means that the land won't be used for expanding coal mines, as YK Enerji had intended.

The fossil fuel industry costs every person on Earth $1,400 a year — and pays almost nothing back. 350.org's new #OutOfPocket report breaks it down. Santa Marta is the first conference ever called to end fossil fuels, and this report is the receipt. Read the full report: 350.org/out-of-pocke...

Cop30 didn't deliver all we hoped for; there were some wins, including recognition of Indigenous territories as a climate solution. It also underscored that climate leadership comes from the people, and we must keep the pressure on our governments to leave fossil fuels in the past!
