My extra thoughts for curious lookers and those using screen readers: During my brief research, Wikipedia said the Jellyfish is the sexual point of their lifespan, so I tried to make her look a little more promiscuous. Jellyfish also don't have conventional brains, and they kinda just float around and that made me think of a stoner for some reason, so that's what drove the expression and pose.

Haven't finished anything in a bit, so here's a doodle/experiment I did. I thought it would be interesting to try and draw Japanese Yokai based on their description so here's a Kappa. Sort of also a visual library test, the only ref I used was turtles to try and add their elements #Art #DigitalArt

A Kappa is a Japanese Yokai that is described as a monster that's a cross between a turtle and a boy, and who will lure anyone too close to the edge into the water and drown them. They have a dish filled with water on their head that when emptied will incapacitate them. They can be befriended by giving them a cucumber as they love them.

Going through a period where I feel like everything I draw is bad, so I'm doing a lot of studies and trying to have something new done soon. Here's a realism study I did last month with just a pencil brush and smudge tool. Haven't done realism in forever, so I was surprised it didn't go terribly.
