More reading and knitting. Adam Becker’s book explained a lot to me - effective altruists, longtermists.. Who is Government posits public servants as more than trustworthy. I read everything he writes. Knitting with my heart for a new arrival.

EPIC snowfall happening in New Orleans and across the south. Enjoying this day!

Snow covered bird feeder with a sparrow perched while it continues to snow which is only unique because it’s in south Louisiana.

Wide girthed water oaks dusted with snow surrounded by tropical palm fronds covered in snow in a place where even a light freeze is uncommon.

A good morning for hand quilting and listening to stories..

Needle and thread lay against a quilting project. The fabric is brightly colored yellow, orange, red, purple and white bringing to mind Santa Fe, New Mexico. Two other pictures show the book covers of Haruki Murakami’s The City and its Uncertain Walls, and Charmaine Wilkerson’s Black Cake.

This little hat knitted for my grandchild came out so well! Of course it’s the dyed cotton yarn that did a lot of the work.
