i really do think this band/album is ASTONISHINGLY good and criminal that more people aren’t listening to and raving about it

the only super good memories i have of my teenage years are hanging out with him and my brother, the three of us were really inseparable for a long time.

it’s mean how your brain can sometimes pull that kind of bullshit on you from completely out of nowhere. we drifted apart and gradually lost touch during my time at uni, and it really makes me so heartsick every time i think about it 😞

very randomly i had a really vivid dream last night about the guy who was pretty much my best friend in secondary school, and i think i’ve just realised i’ve been feeling kind of fucked up about it all day.

😔 oh my gosh, this is so sad. sending love to brooke’s friends and family. i loved her videos so much.

i’m about 100 pages out from the end 👀 the middle part with steve and the fucking lions DRAGGED, i don’t really enjoy him much as a character, but otherwise i’m REALLY enjoying this.

i really want to get back into reading much more regularly. i love it but i’m really picky, and my attention span is abysmal at the moment so it can be difficult. i’ve been a little disappointed with some of the stuff i’ve finished recently, but this one is super gripping already.

i’ve wanted to read the library at mount char for ages, but just finally managed to get a copy—even paperbacks are really expensive here, and it had to be back-ordered from overseas. i’m only a chapter in and it’s already fucking bonkers.

also, this is one of the craziest things i’ve heard lmao. they do this live……

weirdly i’m not as much a fan of their heavily prog album, the stuff after is so much more unique and interesting. a lot of weird noise and experimental elements i like.

MAN, i knew i was super stressed about this, but i don’t think i realised just how much background tension i was carrying about it until it was suddenly gone 😮‍💨 the relief is maybe one of the best feelings ever tbh

Quote with your yellow art 🌻 (I should use yellow more but it's a difficult colourrrrr)

Illustration of Henry of Skalitz and Hans Capon from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
symmetrical composition featuring two young men in their 20s standing, mirroring their poses, looking at each other. the man on the left is wearing full body armour, the man on the right is wearing a yellow gambeson, red hood and turquoise pants, rich fabrics, fit for a noble

in between them is a stone block with medieval ornaments, above which is the coat of arms representing Lords of Leipa, red curtains framing above it

at the bottom of the stone is a carved saying in latin "Audentes fortuna iuvat"
the illustration is based on a JC Leyendecker ad painting

i’m at 83% completion of this master set now, but the remaining cards are proving really difficult to find in nz so far. i’m ONE card away from completing a full collection of stufful, cubchoo, and pancham cards (inc. all variants).
