Not a whole lot of visible progress for Day 4 of #GBJAM14, but I've updated the renderer to build sprites from 8x8 tiles in the atlas instead of loading them through a separate process. Background tiles are randomized for a cool corrupted effect! #indiedev #gamedev

Currently torn on whether I should use a fixed or freelook camera. Fixed camera has a nice retro feel to it, but I worry it will heavily affect level design, while freelook adds more controls, which may make web/mobile more cumbersome. What are your thoughts? #indiegame #gamedev

Experimenting with proportions a little bit. I think the orange guy is super cute, but the blue guy might support a better range of game modes. I think First Person Shooter type gameplay especially would benefit from the head not being so massive. What do you think? #indiegame #gamedev
