Want to know how stupid my state (TN) is? They charge a $100 "Electric Vehicle Fee" for hybrid cars. Not just plug-in hybrids, any hybrid. I get slightly better gas mileage so I have to make up for it by paying more to register my car. I bet there are full ICE cars that get better MPG than I do.
