@davidmuttering.bsky.social my son (fellow PVFC supporter) was offered pupilage last week - any advice I could pass onto him would be gratefully received if you have the time

So Liverpool having their worst season in living memory by a country mile and Man Utd and Everton are still below them in the table after almost half a season - it just shows for awful those teams really are 😉

030

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 03/12/2025

Even though Liverpool have had their worst start to a season in living memory, after a third of the season they are still above Man Utd and Everton 😉

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Something is not right - Slot needs to sort out the system as 2 of the best strikers in the world in Ekitike & Isak are just not getting the ball in dangerous positions; both have proven goal scoring/finishing ability yet are anonymous when they are on the pitch; it’s very odd!

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

For all Liverpool fans that don’t get it & are knobheads let’s make it simple: we won the league last season; this is the transition season, not last season - we have bought half of a new team all at the same time; Diogo Jota’s death has had a massive impact on our players 🤷‍♂️

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

I said to the wife before start of the season that Liverpool’s PL season will depend on how many points we have dropped by 2nd international break due to number of new players we have & CL would be our trophy to fight for this season; so a positive is that we are only a point from top 👍

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

Virg gave him way too much space there 🤷‍♂️

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

When you look at the fouls Saka gets compared to Salah it’s a complete joke!

110

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

So Liverpool clear at the top of the league - not playing particularly well, new players not quite bedded in yet, international breaks not helping, not even played Isak yet - scary for everyone else when it does all come together!

030

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

Man Utd where they belong - in the bottom half of the table; they spent most of last season there and I can’t see them getting into the top half any time soon, if at all. If they don’t sack Amorim and get Nuno they are mad! Hope they don’t by the way 😆

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

Utd getting a pen in the 97th minute - who knew 🤷‍♂️

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Man Utd 🤣🤣🤣 - two penalties, a sending off and an own goal incoming then 🤔

040

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 25/08/2025

Carragher - “Newcastle were outstanding”; clown 🤷‍♂️

040

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

I see after two games that Man Utd are already around the position they are going to finish in the PL at the end of the season 😆😆😆

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

It’s falling apart already 😆

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

Simon Hooper ref and John Brookes VAR in the Newcastle v Liverpool game - well I suppose it’s better than Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver 🤔🤷‍♂️

110

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

I love Chiesa - always have 👍

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

So if the deliberate handball wasn’t deemed to be a red card then why didn’t Liverpool get a free kick anyway?

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

No matter what happens tonight at Anfield, or indeed in the rest of the season, let’s all remember: “football is the most important of the least important things” 👍

030

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

So £25 million more incoming to go towards Isak transfer with Doak going to Bournmouth; then player sale from Bournmouth to Brentford and another player sale from Brentford to Newcastle allowing Isak to come to Liverpool - 4D chess from Hughes and Edward’s 👍

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 10/08/2025

The Liverpool team is fantastic but when you see the squad in black and white it’s a bit worrying in terms of depth; on the bench - Chiesa and Elliott who may be off and three kids is a bit concerning at this stage with a week to go 🤔

120

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 08/08/2025

Possibly Ouattara from Bournmouth to Brentford, Wissa from Brentford to Newcastle, Isak from Newcastle to Liverpool - Hughes and Edwards both have Bournmouth connections as they both worked there; 4D chess 😉🤔😆 👍

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 06/08/2025

I think a CB is Liverpool’s priority now as we are too light there. I still don’t understand why Liverpool would let Quansah leave unless they had a nailed on replacement, especially as they are so well run - it makes no sense 🤷‍♂️

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 02/08/2025

So Newcastle holding out until Liverpool have played them on the 25th to ensure Isak can’t play against them 🤔

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 01/08/2025

Liverpool should offer Newcastle Harvey Elliott and Darwin Nunez plus £70 million for Isak; if they don’t accept that then they are stupid

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

Ngumoha 😳 - Liverpool need to look after him 👍

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

Ekitike will be awesome at Liverpool from what I have seen so far - loads of potential

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

Ozzy Osbourne RIP - showing my age now as Sabbath were the first band I ever saw live in the 70s when I was still at school; supported by Van Halen - what an introduction to live music that was!

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

How the f..k are the Liverpool players going to be able to play the first game against Bournmouth at home with the emotion from the crowd - I have no other words 🤷‍♂️

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

Terribly sad news about Diogo Jota - R.I.P; got married only two weeks ago and leaves behind three children; brother also died in the car crash - just awful!

020

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 26/06/2025

Kerkez - proper defender, superb athlete plus he can attack 👍

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

Liverpool would be mad to let Elliot go - I understand there are better players than him atm in his “positions” but he is a good player, has a great attitude and offers us a lot

220

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

Feel swap deal happening - Isak to LFC & some combination of Nunez/Jota/Elliot/Quansah to NUFC; if it happens I would try to keep Quansah unless we have a young, talented CB lined up - Quansah has made mistakes but quality player who is hard to replace. Not sure about Gordon - maybe if Diaz goes 🤔

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

This is the plan isn’t it - wow!

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

I do really want to publicise the other place but this is a must watch for Liverpool fans - by far the best one they have done; OMG my mouth is still open - hilarious 😆 x.com/wearelfctmm/...

Trent hasn’t really been learning Spanish for months and months then 🤷‍♂️ - old Liverpool CEO let slip that he told the club he was leaving at the start of the season so no need to keep everyone hanging on all season

010

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 05/06/2025

Just over five weeks to the first Liverpool friendly 👍

030

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

So Wirtz just made the Germany v Portugal game interesting enough by scoring and tangling with Fernandes and Silva but they lost so he is now free to join Liverpool as Germany’s tournament is finished 😉👍

270

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Wirtz showing Bruno what he is going to face in the PL next season 😉

040

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Ronaldo hasn’t had any work done on his face has he 🤔

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Wirtz likes to wander everywhere doesn’t he 😉

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Just hoping Wirtz doesn’t get injured!

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

And we are all watching the Germany v Portugal match 😉

021

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 04/06/2025

Bruno better stay away from Wirtz if they both play this evening - wouldn’t put it past him to to injure him!

000

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Bruno wants to “stay at Utd and compete for major titles” - does he not understand the term “mutually exclusive” 😆😆😆

030

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 30/05/2025

Liverpool have managed to get £10 million out of Madrid for Trent by releasing him early plus they won’t have to pay his wages for June/July - considering Madrid offered us £850,000 to release him that’s great business 👍

1neilc1 @1neilc1.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

Giving Palace a guard of honour for winning the FA cup - class 👏👏👏
