I'm worried about the AI fans - every time I've gotten into an argument with them they think one nation is the answer - and I'm coming across more and more younger women with this mindset, who you would otherwise think might be leaning towards being a Greens voter.

Yup. Me and my Corolla have driven around these things broken down and stuck on some rough tracks in regional western Australia. I want to see a much higher rego fee and a different license category for them, they are a hazard and the driver needs to be responsible like a commercial driver.

Pop down to Kmart or wherever you get your discount appliances and pick up a tabletop induction cooktop. They were in the center aisle at Aldi for $50 not long ago. Also removing gas cooktops is more effective than medication for kids with asthma.

The world has moved on and so should the AFL. Though hand signals as a universal concept is an interesting topic in its own right - for example Auslan, British sign language and American sign language is as different to each other as Spanish, Finnish and Chinese. The AFL really needs an education module thingy about appropriate hand signals. Thumb and little finger not thumb and index finger for the number 3 please. See also - direction of palm for number 2. Maybe I'm fussy because I can communicate a bit with hand signals...

My reflex for indicating the number 3 involves my thumb touching my little finger and I used to be a diver before my heart condition put a stop to that ... (Before white fascists took it over that was the diver hand signal for OK, noting that thumbs up has a separate meaning - going up end dive.)
