I spent time with two trans candidates running for office in two very different Georgias: Atlanta, a Dem stronghold, and Cartersville, in a district that hasn't elected a Democrat since 1996. Neither wants to discuss identity politics — they are focused on data centers, groceries and healthcare.

Most Americans think the federal government should increase spending on childcare, and Gen Z is the group most in favor of that change — especially Gen Z women. And according to a The 19th/@today.yougov.com poll, 29 percent of them favor care for young children that is fully government funded.
