Once you understand the impact that inflicting this has had on individuals and small businesses like me, then you ask who is benefitting from keeping Brexit going? Why aren't Brussels, London and Spain stepping in to fix what's been caused? @180daysinspain.bsky.social @bremaininspain.com

To our friends across the EU, EEA and Switzerland: restoring freedom of movement isn’t only a British issue. We want Europeans to regain the freedom to live, work and study in the UK too. Follow @savefom.bsky.social and help us make the case for mutual freedom of movement.

Brexit didn’t just end freedom of movement for British citizens. It also ended the automatic freedom of EU, EEA and Swiss citizens to come to the UK to live, work and study. @savefom.bsky.social wants to restore those freedoms for everyone. Follow and support us.

Focusing the criticism on Brexit for the loss of freedom of movement for British citizens across the EU falls short of the full picture - Sweden has been following an anti-immigration path that leads to situations both absurd & tragic.

Unless these people have committed serious crimes (which would have been an acceptable reason to revoke their freedom of movement as stated in Art. 45.3 of TFEU) it's difficult to see the Swedish authorities doing this for reasons other than bringing the immigration numbers down.

We’re not asking for exceptional treatment. Treating people properly who made a life abroad before Brexit isn’t exceptional. It’s normal and reasonable. The minimum that can be done. And as for solving 90-in-180-day problem will help millions of people. That’s a good thing.

I think it’s time to be a lot more direct and blunt about the 90-in-180-day problem and the problems post Brexit with EES and people mobility in Europe. It really is time for change, and I’m so pleased that the British parliament is starting to look at this now. We are starting to be heard ♥️ 🇬🇧 🇪🇺

People should complain about the 90-in-180-day problem. As loudly as possible! 💥 📣 This is how we make the case for better people mobility. Without people getting enthusiastic about international mobility again, it will not be possible to rejoin the single Market or EU. It’s a vital part of it.

UK joining the EU is inevitable because it’s undeniable that outside in the UK is weaker, poorer and more isolated outside. These are facts. You can’t then demand your government do better, fix services, fix the economy, yet deny them the largest and most single opportunity to do just that #RejoinEU
