just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 14/10/2026went to a friend’s memorial service today on what would have been her 80th birthday. truly, a life well lived. but i still keep thinking i’ll see her at the next run. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 13/10/2026I’m voting grey vines or teal wavy lines. and then the drapes can stay or go away until summer for blackout purposes? 020
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 12/10/2026day three of running and it didn’t suck. in fact, it was good. all three days. 010
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 10/10/2026definitely feeling like i should have gone to audi, but spent $27 for beers and snacks instead of many multiples of that just to get a ticket. being responsible is overrated. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 05/10/2026maybe it’s time to stop wearing the watch all the time. i’m tired of finding out i had a demanding day at 8:05 pm despite doing fuck all for most of it. 010
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 05/10/2026probably for the best this game is on the small screen. #thatsthespirit (le sigh) 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 05/10/2026i tried to create an account online and “something went wrong” a few too many times, so off to the vpn 100
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 04/10/2026talked to my parents for the first time in a month (they’d been traveling). and learned something new. so that was nice. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 29/09/2026in random good news, saw a new-to-me bird today whilst running! pretty sure it was a black and white warbler and pretty sure i ran more today than the last two weeks combined. 020
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 29/09/2026yep, the second half needs to go to ups. so hopefully ups will be kind and print. otherwise, I’ll have to add a stop at the library (the horror). 011
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 29/09/2026turns out half of my amazon return can get dropped off normal at ye olde whole foode, but the other half requires printing a label and going somewhere else? it’s all the same thing. and who has a printer? 200
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 27/09/2026i cut the hood off my hoodie before going to the game. and i feel okay about that decision. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 27/09/2026this is the quietist my seatmate has ever been. not sure if i should be concerned or happy i don’t have a headache incoming. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026probably time to sign up for the dc half next year (file that one under fomo, thanks running club) 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026again with this month. i’ve run maybe 15 miles? but my quad had no stiffness or pain today! and then there was the travel and the illness and … here’s hoping we’re fully on the mend 100
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026parkrun splits this morning were hilarious: mile one, super slow because intentionally walking at the start; mile two, pretty darn slow, but faster because running feels maybe ok; mile three, more of the same; last 0.1? dropped three minutes off my pace because i was not gonna finish over 40 today. 230
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026speaking of poor planning, i have a ticket to the Jo/Kriegs amazing race premiere watch party at AYA Wednesday if anyone needs one? turns out i had prior plans. whomp, whomp. #thatsthespirit 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026this whole month has just been a series of poorly planned opportunities. good grief. 010
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 26/09/2026invited a friend to the spirit game today, but it turns out i don’t have an extra ticket for this one, just the next two. le sigh. fortunately, she’s a fair weather fan and it’s gonna rain, so we’re just pretending like she was gonna go anyway. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 20/09/2026well, we didn’t make it to the game because reasons, but we are watching the spirits in the hotel bar without even having to ask to have it put on because everyone watches women’s sports. or something. #thatsthespirit 061
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 18/09/2026the washington spirit match against the stars is on the list, if i can convince them and the rain holds off and … 020

just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 13/09/2026and i'm just not sure if it's heartening or disheartening to realize the youths can be as incompetent as this old lady. anyhow, as soon as i can delete the photos of my tv, bookshelf, and knees, i think i'll return it again. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 13/09/2026so i charged it up to test it out, and discovered the previous buyer had not deleted the photos from the included sd card. 100
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 13/09/2026they arrived today, and one was clearly a previous return because it arrived in a little sealed plastic bag with half the original box (and all the bits and pieces). 100
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 13/09/2026so i ordered these little keychain cameras for next week's sister trip because we're all old and appreciate things that are a little out of focus. 101

just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 12/09/2026had a truly delightful biscuit, complete with butter and jam, whilst volunteering at parkrun this morning (there were home baked treats to celebrate a 100 milestone). feeling particularly grateful for the community this week. 080

just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 04/09/2026when i finally spoke with a person, they still had to send a signal to restart my modem before scheduling the technician, despite my many colorful descriptions of the cable laying in the road. 000
just jenn @13jenns.bsky.social · 04/09/2026literally took twice as long to explain to the various iterations of “customer service” what was wrong with my internet as it did for the tech to show up with a big ladder, plug the cable back into the box on the utility pole, and drive away. thanks, comcast. 210
