All I could do was support from afar and hope. That was one of the worst times of my life for both personal reasons and Crew reasons. So when I read the words that we were saved, the absolute euphoria was incredible. The closest I got to feeling it again was in 2020 and 2023 when we won it all.

I grew up going to games since the early 2000's. I remember the Open Cup win, went through the highs of 2008 and the subsequent lows of the early 2010's. The unfortunate cancelling of the 2015 MLS cup. I thought all of that was going away for good. Instead a group of incredible people fought back.

My 2 cents about the anniversary of #SavedTheCrew. I was in college at the time in KY when it all started. I felt so many emotions that day, anger, sadness, and even nothing at all. I was alone away from all of Crew fandom and my family. The Crew had been apart of my life from the beginning.
