I've been seeing this screenshot float around during the ongoing Choosin' Texas discourse to imply the song's not a big deal because she's only sold 6,000 copies, but like, that's not what the word "another" means. Choosin' Texas is 6x Platinum in the US.

My timelines usually look pretty clean but that's 'cause most of my shenanigans involve rate stretching which doesn't show up on this view.

Premiere Pro timeline, mostly consisting of one video channel with lots of very small clips and one audio channel with longer clips. There are occasional pink boxes (text) in the second video channel and more frequent clips in other audio channels, often lining up with gaps in the first audio channel, including one stack of 5 secondary audio clips at once.

During the drafting of this paper, GPT-5 and Claude Sonnet 4.5 were used to help edit and shorten a longer draft written by the authors. The authors then further edited and refined the text by hand. Such use and this acknowledgement adhere to proposed ethical guidelines for generative AI use and acknowledgement in academic research.

Was checking on Patreon stuff as part of the final preparations for this video, and I find myself fascinated by this exit survey response. I understand someone cancelling because they don't agree with me. But anti-humanity? What does that even mean and what have I said that represents it?

I understand that 12tone's politics are different than my own and I'm mostly happy with that. His creativity and work are important. Recent political expressions in his work seems anti-humanity, so I've decided that I can't support him any longer.
