If the banks don't directly benefit (much?), and fleecing consumers won't address actual drivers of inflation, the system is not fit for purpose. 110

Our new tenants paid more, let half the garden die, and we were furious cos we would have preferred OG tenant stay and pay less. But we weren't asked. Bastards. 121

A year or two later the RE agents advise us of new tenants moving in as former tenant unable to afford rent increase applied without consultation with us. (1/2) 112
