"The story and the engine" isn't even my favorite episode of the Fifteenth Doctor's run and yet I haven't been able to get this idea for a drawing out of my head ever since I first watched it

Doctor Who fanart, mostly in brown and blue colors. Fifteen, in the episode The story and the engine, following the maze pattern in his hair with the tip of his fingers. Above his head, his cornrows dissolve into the actual maze he's navigating. The maze then turns into the room where the engine is - the engine looks like a gnarly tree, glowing turquoise blue, full of thin branches holding a multitude of masks, in the middle of a room with shelves full of trinkets and lit by orange lamps.

Beautiful work, captures the story so well! I always think of Story And The Engine as this era's Season 26 effort - Showing that yeah, even if we go on hiatus *this* is why the show should live forever.

Certainly one of the most visually stunning episodes of the revival IMO.
