In NYC, if you want to take a DWI case to trial, you’ll likely end up coming back to court for a minimum of 18 months. You’ll make upwards of 10 court appearances & have to miss work on those days. The process is the punishment, but you could also end up with a criminal record! 4/x

Without going into the worst case scenario, let’s all agree we can picture the most horrific thing that could happen if you get behind the wheel after drinking. So everyone have a safe, healthy, and happy NYE and hopefully I won’t see any of you in court anytime soon! 5/x
