Fred Wellman @fpwellman.bsky.social · 01/07/2025I want you to carefully think about what Republicans are telling you to cut millions of recipients from Medicaid and Medicare. They want you to believe millions of “perfectly healthy” people are lazily sitting around taking your money. Medicare and Medicaid are health benefits not welfare checks. 591468391
Fred Wellman @fpwellman.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Think carefully about the “perfectly healthy” part of their argument. Perfectly healthy people aren’t using health benefits. Get it? They are using your bigotry and class warfare to screw sick people. Stop falling for their hate. 1337973
Display Names Are Gross @usernamesaregross.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Purely in the interest of accuracy... Perfectly healthy people use health benefits. That is what "preventive" means. Also, Medicare Advantage companies have products specifically designed for people on both Medicare and Medicaid that often provide a suite of non-healthcare benefits. 100
Keith M. Judge @optimist-press.bsky.social · 01/07/2025How does one combat a rush to the lowest common denominator? Is there a principle of virtue as fundamental and readily accessible as this loathsome hatred and demonization? Mercy? Grace? Love? 001
@edominow.bsky.social @edominow.bsky.social · 01/07/2025If they’re all so healthy, then why do we have an idjit trying to MAHA? 000

okay7.bsky.social @okay7.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Exactly. Time spent sitting in a clinic or a doctor’s office is not my idea of fun, exciting, or entertainment. You only do that if you are sick enough or in enough pain that you feel like you need to be seen by a doctor. 010
I apologize for the nonsense🤣🌮 @cowchaser24.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Starting to think they are following the Great Replacement Theory for all of their policies but have included poor people too. 010
saraparedesrn.bsky.social @saraparedesrn.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Yes. Perfectly healthy people who could work but decided they were fine having zero income as long as they have health insurance 000
FGvW 🥪 @fatgirlvsworld.bsky.social · 01/07/2025I am unsure if Republicans juat want cheap labor or to kill people. Probably both. 010
Jack G. @jack1973.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Or if a person is seeking services while "physically" healthy, they STILL need Medicaid to address the mental illness (in regards to this specific behavior). 000
Sherry Krauss @sherry6767.bsky.social · 01/07/2025Exactly! and they see these people as cheap labor 010
JBlanchard @jbatnc.bsky.social · 01/07/2025If MAGA knows ineligible folks in the program, why not just remove those rather than cutting funding for everyone? AND How does cutting the funding remove ineligibles? IT DOES NOT. Republicans are lying about all of this! 1170
