Princess Weekes @princesmweekes.bsky.social · 25/09/2026A lot of the anti non canon ship discourse is a mixture of a complete collapse of creativity and the continuing inability to not need characters to be morally pure to be interesting or worth investing in. 310524
Stephan Krosecz @stephank.bsky.social · 25/09/2026It's so weird to me for people to try to police how other folks enjoy media. I've seen plenty of ships I find kinda weird or distasteful, but I'm not gonna tell them to stop. As long as they're minding their own businesses I'll mind mine, it really doesn't need to be much more complicated than that 060
Aradraugfea🐾👑🌌⛓️💥📢🐶 @aradraugfea.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Don’t know why, but there was a definite shift in the last decade or so where people seem to feel like it’s only worth exploring [ship/alternate take/possibility] if there’s a chance it was canon. Once the canon is established, you win or you lose and any further discussion is bad sportsmanship. 160
Desaan @darksideflame.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I think this applies to how some RE "fans" cannot stand Leon/Ada being canon? They'd rather have Leon end up with a new character with no prior stories or a less stupid option. 000
